We provision, inside your account: a small open-source redirect Worker, a KV namespace holding the slug→destination mappings, one DNS record (qr subdomain, proxied), and an Analytics Engine dataset for anonymous scan stats — everything named openflareqr-*. Scan traffic never touches our servers: scans resolve entirely on your Cloudflare, which is why the codes keep working even if OpenFlareQR disappears. Every mapping is exportable, and our public runbook documents how to manage or remove all of it by hand.

No. When someone scans your code, they go through your own web address straight to your page — our servers aren't involved at all. We could be offline, or out of business, and scans wouldn't notice. It's also why every plan has unlimited scans: we have nothing to meter.
Scan analytics are aggregate and anonymous: counts, country, device type. No cookies, no IP addresses stored, no personal profiles. And the analytics data itself is stored in your Cloudflare account, not in ours.
Printed codes on their domains can't be moved — that's exactly the trap. What you can do is recreate each link on your own domain in minutes (bulk import helps), start printing the new codes, and never be in this position again.
